Description

Iron EDTA 13% — the most widely used chelated iron micronutrient in UAE hydroponic and greenhouse operations. Iron deficiency causes interveinal chlorosis (yellowing between leaf veins) which is extremely common in UAE growing due to alkaline water (pH 7.5+) and high bicarbonate levels that lock out iron.

Why UAE Growers Need Chelated Iron

UAE tap water is highly alkaline — iron precipitates out of unchelated solutions above pH 6.5
EDTA chelation maintains iron solubility between pH 4.0–8.0
Corrects yellowing in lettuce, basil, tomatoes, and all leafy greens
Essential component of every complete hydroponic nutrient solution

Symptoms of Iron Deficiency

New leaves turn yellow while leaf veins remain green (interveinal chlorosis). Affected leaves are smaller than normal. Severe deficiency causes complete leaf whitening and stunted growth.

Application instructions

Follow the manufacturer’s label for the exact formulation, crop and growing method. Confirm the product concentration and application instructions before use. Measure carefully and do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended rate.
